thank you Duckster for that lovely post! yeah so i received a letter from the judge about 10 days ago...i didn't open it because i didn't want to be P.O.'d for the holidays.  i don't know...i had a sinking feeling in my gut that it was a denied again.
yesterday was so quiet & my hunny went to bed for a nap...so i said, "what the heck" (well not heck).
first words that hit ya' were "verdict fully favorable".
it was a pretty extensive letter, it went through all of the evidence & physicians report.  so basically, my medical evidence proved the disability.  i read the dang thing about 4 times...to be sure i understood, LOL.
just feels like something was done "in the right" in this Garden State.  5 years in the making & at least a little justice has been served.
and i did it all by myself! no attorney, no nottin'.
and as i said the day of the trial...it was the easiest thing i've ever done in my life, because all i had to do was tell the truth.
case closed...thank God.

Craig! my man! good to hear from ya'. even though i've a disabled label stamped on me now...it doesn't say "defeated". my mom said to me "well you don't sound too thrilled"...
honestly...anyone who has gone through this, i think that when the fight is finally over...happy & thrilled aren't the emotions you have. don't know...perhaps it's just me; i mean no one WANTS to be disabled, but when it's a fact & the system finally acknowledges it...it's a weird feeling; kinda like "See! I told ya'! Should have listened to me 5 years ago!"
most important thing to me is getting Medicare...the Dr issue is a BIG problem.

thanks again to curley & everybody...
peace/love

Hey Erin,

I know I'm late, but I had to throw in my congrats to you.  It must such a weight lifted off of your shoulders.

I don't know about you, but this disease can leave a person feeling hopeless,  you shouldn't have had to fight for what you rightly deserve.

again,

Congratulations. :-)

Raven

True true Raven...
But the fact that I DID do it all on my own should (does) give many people in the same situation hope (and proof) that YOU CAN do it all on your own without a lawyer! (I could not afford one & "they lost my application for a pro bono attorney).
It's a boost of confidence that I did it.
Thank you Raven.
