Thanks for the condolences, Duck, (sniff, sniff) we're crying here in the Florida version of Packerland. But, congratulations to you Giants fans. We had all the Wisconsin essentials, Packer gear, brats, burgers, lots of cheese, just don't know where we went wrong..haha. Gosh, those guys all looked frozen!
So, so glad you're feeling better!!!! How are the kids? Yally's right, as usual, you have been missed, very much. How many more days is it before hubby gets home? Not too long now, is it?
Yally, hugs to you dear...and please do let us know as soon as you are able that all is well, you know that we love you too!
Going to go and hit the hay, tomorrrow is going to be a busy day,
Hugs to you all,
Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you and will say a prayer. I'm sure you'll be fine.
I've been searching for the A&E Intervention episode that you spoke about a few weeks ago. Do you remember, was the girl a gymnast at some point? If this is the one, it's on again Feb 25th at 8:00pm Eastern Time. Let me know if this is the one, I really want to see it. You can check at aetv.com, they show small clips.
Yeah!! That is the best news, had you on my mind and in my prayers all day today...sending the biggest hug your way.
Joan, gosh, I'm so sorry to hear you're sick, too...this has been the worst winter! Seems like this stuff just hangs on and on. Hope you feel better.
Have a good night, all

My goodness Joan, this has been a terrible winter for you. I've heard shingles can be the worst. The pain lasts forever.............. Sending gentle hugs and prayers your way. Hopefully this will pass soon.
no yally I have been pain free from post shingles neuralgia since 12/23 in terms of my back. Then I got painful tingling on leg and stabbos in the groin. After that I came down with the yuck. The doctor (neurologist) did not know alot about the shingles. I tried to explain it to him. I think he just got off the boat frankly. Everything was like that and and the medical receptionist from Guaunha asked me the name of the virus I had. I told her nobody gave it a name yet. She also did not know what date the first Tuesday in March was. She had never heard of Ireland. I got to have a good lunch out though, so that was worth the trip, I supppose. Peace and hugs everybody. My spirometer is showing improvement.

Hey Jody and all of the gang at HW,
The pneumonia is all cleared up. My rheumatologist did mention Enbrel but he was going to wait and see how eveything is by next appt in March. At my last appt my inflammation was still very high/ I don't know if the Plaquenil is working for me though. I still have a lot of pain most days. The exhaustion is worse though. I'm not sure about anything thses days. I have an appointment with a doctor that specializes in pain management, I hope he can help. I take oxycontin 20mg every 12 hours and my doctor increased it at my last visit to 40mg q 12 hours but it's too much. I can't function with that much meds in me but I'm in pain all of the time. i've tried some of the other meds like gabapentin, tegretol and Lyrica but can't take any of them. i had headaches constantly and eye twitching as well. The celebrex doesn't really help either and my fingers look like sausages most times. My shoulders are the worst right now.
Anyone have any suggestions as to what works? My Rheummy thinks that if we just keep tweaking the meds things will get better but it's a long time to feel this crappy.
Thanks to everyone for letting me whine and vent. I'll update tomorrow after my appointment
Good afternoon all,
A miracle has occurred in Florida!! I got all of the kiddos asleep at the same time....this does not happen often..yeah! I reallly needed this today though, it's been a wild and crazy week. Think the full moon makes everybody, especially the little ones, revved up and a bit ornery.
Oh Yally, so glad you are feeling better...had a good laugh picturing you rolling out of bed. Only because I can SO relate about the difference manuvers it sometimes take to get your body moving after surgeries, etc. No results yet from the scan, they said my doc should have results in about a week, and that was Monday, so who knows? As far as the rest of me goes, I must be doing ok. When I read about how badly everyone here is hurting, my aches and pains feel very small by comparrison. Not as good as I want to be, but not as bad as I've been. Guess that sums it up as good as anything . Oh yes, to Idol...love to watch good old sarcastic Simon...he cracks me up when he's not being too mean. Reminds me of our buddy House.
Raven, I pray the doc was able to help today! Please don't ever feel bad for venting, that's what we're all here for..to be a cyber-shoulder when we need one. If we can't be real here and let it all out, where else is there? That's what I love most about this place, everyone understands, cares, and is so supportive. It IS a long time to be hurting and that in itself is hard to get through sometimes. I think it's almost impossible to keep our spirits up all the time, faced with all this. Sometimes we just have to let ourselves feel bad and grieve a bit. You've got all of us to help you hang in there. Hey.....I saw on one of the other posts that you just had a birthday..so HAPPY BIRTHDAY a bit late! You should have told us..Yally makes and incredible computer cake!! No kidding, she does an awesome job, just wish we could really eat it haha.
Joan, hope you're feeling better today! Have to check out that vaccine you were talking about..wonder if that's something we all need?
Hugs to all the rest of you...you're all missed, alot......We are really threadbare!! (that was bad, I know, couldn't help myself)
