Not sure what to think or do here.  Just Monday of last week I had my 6 week visit with my rheumy and I thanked him and everyone else in there for helping me to feel so wonderful.  Nothing hurt, I was walking, I felt great.  He even said that I can extend the rituxan until things come back instead of getting it every 4 months.  I was soooo excited.  Then something happened.  Over the last two days I have been utterly exhausted (burnt out) or drained and my joint pain is starting to come back.  It hasn't even been 4 months since my last infusion.  What do I do.  This is a real let down.  I have had bad days but usually it goes away this doesn't feel like it is going away... Do I try to wait this out or do I go ahead and set up an appointment for the next infusion in March?

Help, I'm hurting.... again

Oh Bloo,
I'm so sorry your hurting! I don't know anything about the meds your on, just wanted to pop in and send a hug your way...sure doesn't seem like it would hurt to call the doc and ask what you should do.
Feel better!

Hi bloo,

I'm sorry to hear you feel so miserable and that is the way it always seems to happen! Do you have a cold or a virus? I have been feeling the same as you drained and no energy and even my elbows and feet hurt. Maybe wait it out a bit and if it doesn't go away, make your appointment....Or maybe as Jody suggested give your doctor a call and see what he says.

I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you all for your kind words. There has been a lot of rain over the last week so maybe this is a big part of it... Can neck pain and headaches as a result of the neck pain be a part of this RA?

If i hold my neck to the right or even turn it to the right i start getting a headache which goes away if I reposition most time unless i pop it... is this something that needs to be looked at? I get concerned about the headache part.

hi bloo where have you been!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i missed not hearing from you! yes neck pain is part of RA. i only know that because i have been googling RA and cervical issues all day. i too have cervical issues and found out RA does effect the cervical area of the spine. you should google it and also get an xray of that area. i just had one yesterday and found out i have issues with 4 of my discs. C4,5,6, and 7. i wil find out more in a couple of weeks when i see my doc, but i too get neck headaces. i read in one article 84% of RA patients get cervical involvement. i hope that helps and i hope you get some relief and information to help you. i miss you on the moanin thread so i hope you post again soon!!!!!!! take care and hugs yally :)
