Hey Ducky - SO glad your hubby is home! YEAH!
Yalinda, being the statue STINKS. I hope things are better. I don't know if chocoloate is bad for the joints - but it is as a secondary recation: I eat too much, I gain more weight, my joints scream louder! But it tastes SO GOOD!
Son is crying.....
Everybody seems to be getting sooo...... sick this winter. Hope it passes soon. I think I already posted this but posting again because I am getting really frustrated. I saw a pain management Doctor last week. Says he can't treat my pain, it is too widespread and he only basically uses Botox for pain relief. He is sending me for an MRI on my spine but I'm not too sure why.
I saw my regular MD for refills on oxy today and he really frustrates me. I feel like he is saying "ok, this is what you have, these are the pills you have to take, not sure if it will get better or worse but should get better."
No advice on different things to try, exercises to do nothing. Just basically put on your big girl panties and deal with it. He never even checks my BP or Blood sugar and I've been hypertensive and diabetic for years. Never asks how are you feeling or if things are getting better. Do I expect too much? I guess I just feel like my life is in limbo. I try everyday to not think about it and go about my daily routine but I have not been able to work in almost a year due to pain issues not being under control, and the pain is there. Can anyone offer advice on how to just get passed this???
Thanks for letting me vent,

Raven...What is it with doctors? I called my regular oby-gyn and could not get in until March and that was fine, decided to go to regualur primary care office for help with cycle pain..forget it!!!! I asked for a prescription of provera and she hemmed and hawwed and wanted my medical records from my ob-gyn's office FIRST! It was ridiculous! I spent an entire hour there today and she then said she would call me....nothing for pain, that was that! After I arrived home there was a message from the nurse at ob-gyn's office to call, it turns out primary care doctor passed me back over, but at least I got a prescription. This is the same primary care doctor that my husband took my daughter to yesterday for a peristant cough, and was there for an hour and finally she prescribed some cough medicine.
Oxy as in oxycontin? it doesn't help with your pain? I'm really sorry to hear you hurt so terribly!

o you sweet talking yally ... have the troopers right in the palm of your hand. Did you offer him some chocolate, act confused and dazed and say...I didn't see the sign Officer "Is that something I have to worry my pretty little head about?"
Got a long distance phone call last night too!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yally...I had to laugh at the "ode to catch a man" perfume! and yes Saturday's are even better! Not much to do here today, hubby offered to go grocery shopping for me so nothing really but some housework..for two teenage boys that is! and spanish homework for myself. Tomorrow will be busy since my daughter has a cheer competition and those are always an all day event
I'm glad to hear it is sunny your way, and try to stay warm and enjoy your weekend
I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure you won't have time to use half the ammenties there (hee hee!) - though that spa on the deck, WOW!
Oh, I hope I hope I hope Yalinda the pain will continue to go away!
It does sound like a water pill! But, hey, any water pill that helps the shoulders and hips (or any joints for that matter!) feell better while it's working - is a pill I won't mind taking! Ha ha.
