Does this mean I dont have AS?

Multiplanar imaging of the lumbar spine was performed w/o IV gadolinium. History is low back pain. No significant focal bony lesion or acute fracture is seen. Conus is intact. Discs are within normal limits w/o herniation, bulge or significant degenerative change. Alignment is mormal. Neural foramina are patent.

My doctor sent me a letter with the results saying that my problem was all muscular.  Can muscle pain make it hurt to sit?

Did they order just a lumbar spine MRI or a pelvic MRI? The SI joints which are most often inflammed in AS should have been mentioned in the report, even if they were normal. That makes me wonder if they even looked at them.

I know that my MRIs have always been pelvic MRIs with special note to look for SI joint problem.

Wow, your right, but I would think that they would mention them.  I will have to ask.

Thanks for bringing this up.  :-)
