Hello, I am new here just found this site while browsing for information on my RA meds.
I am 34 was diagnosed about a year ago RF went from 13-30 and off to rhuemotologist I went. X rays showed what the doc needed I guess to start me on all these meds. Now after a year the meds seemed to have been subsiding the symptoms, with an injection here and there. But suddenly I find I am unable to urinate. Went all the regular routes with this one as a mother I know all the possibliities but I had no other sypmtoms, the ER doctor even said I was profoundly dehydrated, funny I drink at least, I mean at the very least 4-6 20 oz botttles of water a day. I knew he was wrong they gave me a bag of fluid and off I went now with the same symptoms. So the point is I have been on Sulfasalazine 500mg 2-2x's a day, hydroxychloroquine 200mg 2x's a day and sulindac 200mg 2x's a day. I got real sick and stopped taking all of them and now ah ha I can urinate without the pain and anguish. Has anyone ever experianced this?

Well I too take hydroxychloroquine 200mgs twice a day and I have been on Sulindac for 13 years (I find it funny you are on it-my rhuemy hates it-thinks it is one of the less effective NSAIDs and I am the only person she prescribes it for-I love it)
I have never had any problems with urination.
