I ended up having my ovaries, tubes and endometriosis resectioned and didn't lose the uterus! So I'm very happy. Just started getting a few hot flashes last night, day 4. But feel pretty good, amazingly my RA hasn't flared. I thought major surgery I was in for a bad time but in fact the meds they put me on for the op have completely wiped out all my knee and hip pain that I live with. Shame I can't stay on them. But they're a bit too strong for me to work on anyway. Just thought I'd let you all know I survived to tell the tale! Best wishes to you all, golitho. tongue

I wondered where you went to! Glad to hear your op went so well and that your RA is behaving itself.
Take care

Glad to hear all went well for you.  Take care and don't over do things, allow yourself at least 3 months or so before you really start to get some kind of normal back.  Thinking of you as I've been through this myself, as it turns out the best thing to do.

Looking after yourself.

Thanks everyone. I will take it easy, looking forward to being allowed back on humira, amazing once you're off a med how much you realise it does for you. Getting a slow build up of overall joint pain, joints I'd long forgotten about. I'm allowed to take it again next Wednesday, but I am allowed to take prednisone in the meantime, only I dread going back on it, Works too well and then I hurt coming off it again! The dreaded steroids! Do you guys have the same love/hate relationship with it?

But apart from tiredness, I'm very good. I've only had a few hot flashes, nothing too bad. Long may it continue.

Hope everyone is well, golitho yeah
