I'm so sorry you are in pain to the point that it wakes you out of a sound sleep! Can you call your rheumy and get an emergency medrol pak or dose of pred until you can get another medication added to your humira? It sounds like you need something more added in to the mix.

I agree with Momto3 I think you need another med on top of the Humira.
Sorry you are in so much pain.

I've been having a lot of headaches/migraines recently, probably from my methotrexate. Because I have Crohn's, I can't take NSAIDs, and Tylenol rarely takes away my headaches and never has any impact on my joint pain. My doc prescribed me Tramadol to take when the headache or joint pain is bad. It's stronger than Tylenol but doesn't knock you out like some of the narcotics out there. Alternatively, you may want to ask your doctor about a sleeping medication. I take trazadone to help me sleep because otherwise it can take me hours to fall asleep and I wake up constantly.

10/12/09: beginning treatment for inflammatory arthritis
Currently taking: 7.5mg methotrexate weekly (pills), 2g Pentasa, tapering from 20mg prednisone, 150mg Trazadone, multivitamin, vitamin D, magnesium, probiotics, folic acid
