I've been having weird headaches off and on for over a month.  sometimes it feels like my whole head is in a vice, other times just a pressure feeling in the back of my head.   Went to the nurse practioner at my primary's office today.    She doesn't think it's migraines, nor due to any of my vascular problems.    She said it could be the arthritis?   Anyone out there have arthritis pain in their head?    I supposed if I have arthritis in my neck it could cause headaches??    How would they tell if it was from arthritis?   Would they do an xray of my head and neck or an MRI?

just wondering if anyone else has had these problems and could give me some insight.

She decided to help me quit smoking that I should take an antidepressant, even though I'm not depressed.   I'm to start taking Zoloft.   She thinks that it might keep my anxiety level down while I'm trying to quit.

I see a vascular surgeon next week as my primary said the circulation in my legs is getting really bad.

hope you are all well,

Alicat

For awhile it seemed like I was getting cluster headaches frequently. Lasting from Friday-Sunday. I was thinking it was the MTX I take on Wednesday. Then it stopped happening.

I'm not on MTX.    I've been on Humira for almost two years with no problems so I don't think the headaches are due to meds.   Only thing new I'm taking is fish oil.

Hi Alicat,

I have headaches that my GP said are Neuralgia caused by the Humira. Im not sure if thats correct, as I did get these headaches every so often, but not as frequent as I get them after starting Humira, although I am having them less often now (touch wood lol).

I would like to know if RA alone can cause these too.

Good luck next week with you appt.

Hope all goes wellsmilewinkgrin Let us know.

Jo
