wow mama you have your hands full. My kids are grown, college, married, succesful. I am very proud of them. I had symptoms when they were young but not like now. My favorite thing to do when they went to bed was take a HOT bath and relax every last muscle in my body, including my mind. I just did that tonight. Had a terrible week, thought I was going to have to come home everyday. I could have cried my legs, feet wrist, hips hurt so bad. I feel so much better on the weekends when I have a balance of excercise and relaxing.I hve been sitting here too long now and my hips are saying MOVE IT! Hope you do better. Hang in there mama.
Psoriasis and PS arthritis, Fibro,IBS,Bursitis,DDD of neck,Hypothyroidism.
Meds: Savella(love it),Flexeril at night,Synthroid(just started),Folic acid, lots and lots of Tylenol(liver enzymes up so trying not to take it), Humira( afraid to start untill I get thyroid leveled) not sure about it).

I thought once I found out what was wrong with me I would feel better. I thought wrong.

Wow,
You have it rough, normal. I am so sorry that you are having it so rough. That is one of my worries is that the Dr. may think that continueing me on Tramadol, Cymbalta, and this new NSAID that he prescribed will cut it..not with my physical job. I had 185 cases to put away ranging from 15-75 #'s in the last two days. I can feel the joints, the muscles, and everything in between haha. I try to rest in the tub as much as possible. I tell my husband we need a hot tub..he just laughs at me..oh well no shame in asking, someday maybe. I hope you feel better. I haven't heard any news so far and boy is time going by slow. I'm suppossed to hear from them tommorrow. I hope, or I guess I will be calling. Talk to you soon, Heather turn

mama,
Iknow jobs are hard to find right now but you really do need a new job.  We can post for new jobs at work. Are there any other positions at your employment you can apply for? Also I wanted to know if you have a WI?If not I think Santa should bring one. Put it in lay-a-way today!!!! You can do yoga and alot of other exercises thar really help me. Your whole family will enjoy it and benefit from it. I dont have ot that rough. I have a sit down job and can come home and spoil myself yeah  I know how hard it is to take care of yourself with kids. I dont like hot tubs but really want a pool. Nice to dream smilewinkgrin . Take care. Normal

Normal,
I would love a new job right now. My staff has been no help and after my new pr. dr. appointment on Wednesday she put me on a 10 # weight restriction for 3 months. I guess the last time I herniated my back at work I really messed it up. She said it's in an S shape on the lower half and disc are protruding.I have to have surgery sad I really try to help my staff  get everything done but when the shoes on the other foot..well it just doesn't happen. I was "off" work at 2:30 today but wasn't done until 4:00..my staff was long gone. I'm just fed up in general. It's difficult. I wish I had finished college idea It sure would have given me more options. They post jobs at work but in the school system there isn't a lot that I would qualify for that wouldn't require the lifting that I do now. So I guess until the kids get older, I'm stuck. We can't afford for me not to work..so I'll press on.
Oh yes I got a WII last x-mas. I love it!! I even got some of the biggest loser games, but for now they are a little much for me. Even on the easy mode. The yoga is good when I get time. Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming!! turn Take care, Heather
