i had my right thumb fused at the lower joint (cmp) in oct 2010 the fusion has work but i still have pain and cannot bend the tip of my thumb. The pins put in place are now stickig out and i have to get an operation to remove them which will also give the surgeon the chance to look at damage to my tendon that could be causing the loss of movement to the tip of my thumb. i would be grateful for any who has information about this operation .
