hi curley,
so so sorry about your feet! when did this burning come about? i hear a lot of that complaint, some say it feels like their feet are on fire. some come from nerve damage like if you've ever broke or dislocated a knee or something like that. diabetics get that a lot too. sometimes if the veins are not that sufficient, a burning sensation happens. also, neuropathies may cause it too. what's your underlying condition? in the meantime, i hope they cool down a bit...keep those tootsies out in the open tonite in bed!
i can empathize with the foot pain, mine are like walking on glass; feels like all the bones are breaking when i walk. did your doc ever adress this issue yet? have a good nite...wishing you well.

What you describe sounds very much like neuropathy. I am on 60mg of Cymbalta for PN in my fingers. The Cymbalta supposedly is especially for neuropathy. Now, that I have been bumped to 60mg I feel some improvement. Susie

Thanks Erin and Susie,

Between having crohns,ra,oa, Not sure wich one is causing it.I also get this in my hands fingers. The only thing that I have found that helps is to put my feet and hands under the hottest water that I can stand. It does give some relife.

Susie I was put on Cymbalta and was given samples 30mg but my insurance would not help with any of the coast and there for could not afford it.If you know of any others please let me know.

I can relate to the burning feet and burning hands....I have the burning heels and burning tendon in hands and the only comfort I find is running them under the warm water for a while.  It feels so good and wish I could stay there all day.  I maybe need to try Cymbalta for the pain.  I have been on plaquenil for almost 2 months and they said it will take time to start working.  I hope this will take care of the pain!  Good luck to everyone and I hope we all get some relief!!!

Hi curley,
I suffer from burning feet. My entire foot including my ankles feel so hot that it is akin to very bad pain. I use a hot water bottle filled with ice water in bed at night. It's very effective. My RA Doc says it's quite common in people with Fibromyalgia. Hope this helps. Neenaa.
