Does Anyone Know About Orbital Decompression?

:-)  Hey Guys!  I am thinking of talking to my doctor about Orbital Decompression, do any of you know anything about it?  Other than what I can look up on the internet?  Like how risky (if at all) it is?  What problems can I have?  How painful it may be?  Any advice would be great.  I am going to call the dr. tomorrow, but probably won't be able to see her til later in the week, just would like to know more info about it before I go in there... Diagnosed January 2005 - Psoriatic Arthritis/Dactylitis/Spondylitis 
   -Currently taking 50mg shot weekly of Enbrel
 
Diagnosed May 1998 - Graves Disease
   -Complete Thyroidectomy September 1998 - While 11 weeks pregnant
 
Other Complications - GERD/Scoliosis/Hiatal Hernia

Did you say PAINFUL RECOVERY?

Isn't the saying "no pain, no gain?" LOL I absolutely detest that saying. I wish there was something that we could do that helped us AND didn't hurt us. I will be praying for you and your decision on this. It is a hard one to make.
