Hi Bad,

Sorry to hear you are going through this. I had this pretty bad for a while back when I was really sick and it got better on it's own when things started calming down. My Doctor really didn't know what it was caused by but I thought that it might have had something to do with all the Prednizone I was taking at the time. I had lost 60 lbs and was not in a good way :(

I wonder if you pinched a nerve or something in your sleep? I don't know if that would cause this but it's a thought. Can you get to see a chiropractor for your back and neck? I know that they don't help some people but they have helped me a lot over the years.

I hope that you feel better friend. I hate to hear when you are not feeling well but I can sure relate to it. Hang in there. Regardless of how you feel it is always good to see you posting.

-Don

Hi Don you gave me a thought I have been on an increased prednisone for the last month or so, it may well be something to do with that.
I am currently Trying to get the dose back Down but it is a Slow process

I have been advised due to the Osteoporosis in my Back to Not go to a Chiropractor.
I did use them years ago in another life BD (Before Diagnoses) shakehead and found it helped

but then the chiro I used left and I didn't go to another one then of course the mayhem of RA and subsequent Osteoporosis so now don't go.
told if I get manipulation or even a hard massage my joint could crumble

Sorry to hear that Bad, I remember very well how hard it is to lower down on prednizone. :( I hope I never have to go through that one again and I have a cabinet full of it.

Well, I hope you talk with your Doctor about it. Not sure of that is a documented side effect or not but I sure had it. I wondered at the time if it was related to cortisol levels but honestly I was so sick then that it was just impossible to tell even with all the tests they ran. Nothing was real conclusive,

Im keeping you in my prayers daily Bad, it sure sounds like you have been suffering a great deal and I hope you know that I think of you often and all the helpful and kind words you have shared with me and others here over the years. You are a real asset especially to anyone newly diagnosed and scared.

Take care and its sure good to see you around. -Don
