Hi Everyone. First I wish you all a safe and nice Memorial Day Weekend. Please rememer our Veterans out there. Both living and those that gave the utlimate sacrafice to our country.

Now to my problems.  I am having really severe muscle cramps, some at night, but if I move a certain way , boy here they come. It is in my ribs, both sides and yesterday my left calf.  I almost feel to the floor when the one hit me yesterday. I couldn't move my leg to even try not to fall. mad I am just glad I had a grocery buggy to hold on too.  I am on 40 mg of lasix twice a day, but I also take potassium; I also take flexeril for muscle spasms.   So, I am just wondering what is causing all these added cramps.  I do go to my pain dr. this morning, so maybe he can help.

I am using the walker, I got one from a friend with wheels. Yeah, for the wheels. I think my broken foot is healing slowly. It is still painful in my foot and my hip, but the walker makes it easier to move around.

Thanks in advance for any insight I can get about these muscle spasms. J yeah

Thanks Curly. I just got back from my pain dr. He just updated my prescriptions.  He offered to change my flexeril, but I said just let it be for now.

I haven't heard of pickle juice for muscle spasms. I have heard of putting a bar of soap under your sheets for leg cramps. I might try that soon.  J tongue
