hi everyone  had my pulmonary follow up on the spots on my lungs...... seems i mus have dalmation in my blood line?  lol...... sry...... well i wasn't super impressed with the doctor  .... he entered the exam room and asked if he had seen me before and then why i was there...... hello i turned in the CTScan and reports - spoke a good 20 min. to a nurse and then in walks Dr. unprepared..... he then left again to look at the ct scan but stated it would be nothing to wory about and returned with the same reply.... what it is though and why i have three sub plueral spots on my left lung and one subplureal attached to a plueral with yet another one in my right lung.... i guess i may never know?   he said he would repeat the ctscan in one year...... no cause known

he did order a PFT pulmonary function test to rule out asthma, but i think i would know if i sufferd from asthma?

he also ordered a sleep study.  he thinks my fatigue is from sleep apnea, i told him i have RA?

whatever  not overly impressed but if he is not worried  i am not worried, must be dalmation in my blood line!

Yalinda,

Glad to hear that the spots on your lung are "nothing to worry about," but I hate it when doctors take such a laissez-faire attitude about our health.  It sounds to me as if you needed to be assured that the spots were nothing, and your doctor was questioning why you were even there!  Oh well, if you're comfortable with the response that's what is most important.  I just can't stand how some doctors treat their patients (mine included).

Glad to hear things are ok Yalinda.  It's good he's at least following up with another scan in a year.  If you are comfortable with what he said, then great.  If not though, don't feel bad about going for a second opinion.
