Well, you do know...you were quite a mentor during nursing school. So I do hope I am living up to your expectations. Wouldn't let ya down.
Breathing, existing...sometimes that's all one can do for a while. And that's alright, nothing wrong with that. When the time comes to pull yourself up...it will come, and the strength will be there.
Me?...not doing too well. Some major joint problems. But the way I'm coping is my mantra of "At least I'm not on an iron lung!" LOL.
As you know, I'de much rather be doing things that do not inolve taking care of myself all day. But believe it or not...I've been good the past few weeks. Sorta forced to. Can't walk well & the knees are shot so I have to tend to them from morning to nite. Joe's been a saint! He's one heck of a honey! When he says, "Don't get up I'll do it for you"....the man means business. LOL.

Active, Severe Rheumatory Arthritis. Crohns. AS. Chiari Malformation & Right Brain venous anomoly. Partial complex seizures. Emphysema. Rheumatic Lung & Heart. MVP and Tricuspid prolapse. Had Lymes disease for 10 years.
Meds: Humira 40mg Q 4 days; Pred 20mg prn; Pentasa 4G daily; Imuran 50mg; Dilaudid 4mg; Diazepam 5mg; Avinza 30mg; Reglan; Meclizine; LidoDerm; MiraLax & too many others.
