My rheumy gave me samples last week to try of something called "Limbrel".
I read the leaflet inside and it's some kind of FDA approved "medical food". It's a pill and is prescription only but is not really a medication. IT's a highly concentrated form of some kind of flavonoids that are found in fruits, vegeatables,'s an amount that no human could possibly eat in their diet just from eating extra fruits/veg. Supposedly it's a more natural way to act on some chemicals in the body that cause degeneration and inflammation. It is specifically made for Osteoarthritis (which I do have in my spine). The leaflet is sooo technical, though that's its kind of hard to get the gist of what it's supposed to do. It has as little side effects as placebos and supposedly helps to manage OA.
So im wondering if anyone else has heard of this or taken this for any lenght of time? If so, what do you think of it and what effects do think it's had on you?
