do you still have Endometriosis? Or did you get a hysterectomy. If you had surgery then you dont have Endometriosis. Hope you feel better from your inflammation.

Hi Roza,
You're correct, warmth is a sign of inflammtaion...but it can be subtle.  Some people have joints that are burninig hot to touch, others just barely warmer than the rest of the body's temperature.  Others even feel the heat & warmth "inside" the joint and really nothing objective such as heat to touch on the skin.
Going by warmth alone isn't sign enough of detecting inflammation.  Warmth, even if subtle, plus redness & pain can equal inflammation of RA joints.
So you're saying tha your joints have no increased temperature?  Are you having symptoms such as pain in the joints?
RA can be active yet the skin around the joint still can remain cool on touch.
Take care,
Erin

Inflammation, hum, sometimes my joints, esp. my knees and fingers get warm to the touch, but the main thing is pain with me and my muscles and ligaments with my RA. I like to use those things you can use for muscles that have the little magnets in them, they have stickies on them so they attach to your skin, they last 8 hours. They do wonders for me.

Previous meds-Methotrexate,(killed my immune system for 2 years) Enbrel,(didnt work) Humira, Ibuprofen, Arava,(allergic to?) Prednisone, Folic Acid.
Now only on Prednisone because of an allergic reaction they can't figure out, so Im heading to U.of I hospitals and clinics in Sept. for testing, new meds!? Who knows, who cares! Just want off steroids so I can lose weight.
