but I fell back in June, on the job. I fell HARD! I ended up breaking my tail bone. Now my AS has set into the break. I hurt so much all the time and now to add this. I went to church today and could barely sit through it. I've been to physical therapy and my sessions have run out. I'm having a very hard time getting the insurance company to authorize more visits. It helps, the ultrasound, heat and stim and riding the recumbant bike. I need more sessions. They also are having a fit about paying me for my lost time. I've provided them with all the doctors notes and work releases and have yet to see a dime. I went to a pain clinic the other day and the doc did some testing etc and said, "yep, your AS has set into where the break was". He is going to try and get the workman comp to pay for me a tens unit along with all of the other stuff. Then I can use it for other stuff too. That thing is my favorite. I ache all over today, along with a horrid migraine, but decided that in spite of all this crap, I wasn't going to let it keep me home today. I did my very best. I guess that's all anyone can do. One of my favorite quotes is from Mother Teresa, I think. "I know God doesn't give us more than we can handle, I just wish he didn't trust me so much." Sometimes it's all just overwhelming.
Thanks for letting me vent.
Take Care,

dear seechell...I had the same problem different condition about 10 years ago. I was exposed to fumes at work and my breathing went down to 35 out of 100. Just reading your story makes me so mad. They did the same thing to me. They denied me workman's comp. and the insurance company would only pay me for 5 weeks of disability. The whole thing was a disaster and I guess they wanted to shoot myself or live on some curb somewhere and get out of their face. The doctors kept telling me I could not work but the insurance companies did not accept their word. They were very horrible.
I did win eventually but it left a horrible taste in my mouth and a lot of anger about the system. Just keep plugging away and find a good lawyer if you can.
