My throat got so bad overnight I couldn't sleep.  Went to doc she prescribed z-pak.  Said it was ok to take advil but only 200mg at a time.  Doubtful that would do me any good so I really don't want to take any risks.  Anyhow I didn't have a fever when I went, but have since developed on of 102.0 but my throat doesn't hurt as bad as this morning.  I also have bilateral ear infections... oooh yay!  Lucky for me I don't really feel this because of my early childhood and having severe ear issues then.  So now, I wonder if I take the MTX or not.  I got the okay today but didn't have a fever then.  Ugghh.... this is ridiculous.  David got over his illness.  He is going to be 4 this month.  My concern about him was that he has been the same weight for almost a year, and has since lost 2 lbs.  I think overall he is healthy but we had an issue last week with an enlarged lymph node in his groin.  He gets rechecked on that tomorrow.  But then he got sick again, twice in 2 weeks, that was a bit eerie for me.  I worry about skinny boy ya know.

Sounds very familiar indeed. The last really bad illness I had fell across my mtx day, and I didn't take it until I was mostly over the illness. I was sort of worried about hitting my immune system while I was sick (although this was just a guess as I really have no idea how fast the mtx works) and at the same time worried I might barf up the pills, which I did once back in March about 30 minutes after taking them - wasted! My daughter is 2 and I just worry that she might have arthritis festering in her DNA right now...
