It's impossible to comfortably keep a heating pad on my neck. So I took a scarf and sewed a rectangular seam at the fold, filled it 3/4 full with rice and sewed it shut. Microwave it for 15-20 seconds and you have a fashionable heat pack for 20 minutes! :) Just tie the scarf around your neck and tie it in a bow or use a brooch. It feels good!
I suppose you could use it on a knee or arm as well, whatever it would fit around.
