Good Moanin everyone  smurf

saw the pulmonary doc.  he still has no clue.  he said he also hates on radiating me so much watching those buggers in my lungs and he said i really dont think it will turn out to be lung cancer  ..... i would wait til next fall to ct them again.   gosh i hope he is right cuz iagreed.  well i dont want to glow in the dark for no reason so they better just stay quiet in my lungs.

other than that i am still here.  not as bad as yesterday but still wicked flare.  taking tha darvacan con? whatever  doest seem to help at all nor tylenol.  have left over prednisone but staying away if able.  lost 14 pounds since i am off it and have 1 more to go and be back where i started prior to pred.  gonna do it before spring!  yeah at least i can virtually dance through my happy peps. yeah

well hardly slept maybe 3 hours on and off gonna go be a couch potato i think and hybernate   smurf it is freezing in these parts like 2 degrees right now smurf with an expeected high of what 9 or 10?

moanin',
{{{{{{{{{{{{{ yalinda HUGS }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}  oh, Darvon and Darvovet-like pain meds?  how long have you been on them?  i ask only because i 1st started out on Darvocet-N100 for breakthrough pain where all other nasiads and Tylenol failed...but after a few years of being on it it didn't work anymore.
do you suppose one of your docs would help you find a better/more efficient/stronger pain med?
i hear ya...taking steroids again is like a last resort thing for me too.  when you have had enough ya had enough.

happy weekend all.

teehee, cornhole, teehee

You guys kill me! I been missing all the fun in this post! Well, I found you now, so you're stuck with my moanin' butt.

My left shoulder joint is talking to me today and I just with it would shut the H up. Holy cow. Moo and such.

I'm in a fairly irreverant mood today. Hope it don't get me in no trouble.

Breathe in.
Breathe out.

Ok, I'm just hunky dory now.

Sometimes my pain is controlled with fascetious remarks.

*snicker*

Just had to share. :)

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife turning back and forth, looking at herself in the mirror.

Since her birthday was not far off, he asked what she'd like to have for her Birthday.

I'd like to be six again, she replied, still looking in the mirror.

On the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags

theme park. What a day ! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster... everything there was. Five hours Later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down.

He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.

Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure!

Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted.

He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, Well Dear, what was it like being six again ??

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.

I meant my Dress Size, you dumb ass !!

The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he is going to get it wrong.

SEND THIS TO WOMEN WHO NEED A LAUGH..... AND TO MEN YOU THINK CAN HANDLE IT.....

Yep, Ginger or Chamomile tea will maybe help.

Barfing is not good. :(

Especially so much lately. Maybe you could call Dr about it. What do you think is causing it?

If you could stomache it, chicken broth would be good too, keep your electrolytes up.

Hey Savvy.. welcome to the Moanin' thread! Loved the joke.. we need it! Erin is with her honey this weekend... I'm sure she'll be posting as soon as she gets back home.. (I'm hoping at least!)

Yalinda... not good sweetie... maybe you should call the doc tomorrow.. are you having any other symptoms other than the barfing?

Ok, my heels are not happy with me right now.. :( so I'm sitting with my feet up and sipping an Amaretto Sour... this is the life.. (minus the pain).. :)

Hi all! I'm still here! Sorta. The drama in SoCal continues - we had a pipe burst right after the frost and have had no water for over a week now. We have to pay out of pocket to get the house repiped sad long story....but the plumbers can't start until this Friday or next Monday! So, we will have no water for another 2 weeks. We thought we could get at least cold water running, but there appears to be a problem with both the hot and the cold.  It's been a mess. 3 rooms were affected and all the contents of those rooms are all over the house (including the kitchen!) The carpet was torn up, the walls torn through, etc. sad It feels like it's been one thing after another lately....

I'm very tired.....the fatigue is getting to me, I'm sure the stress isn't helping. Luckily, my joints are trying to behave, but they are not happy....hopefully I can get through this mess before they completely retaliate on me.

Yalinda, I'm so sorry to hear about the turkey mess, the stomach issues (which I'd have checked out if it's been going on for a while) and the joints.

Erin, I am glad your honey's weekend getaway helps, I hope you start feeling better soon.

Everyone else - feel better, stay healthy, stay WARM!

****

Thanks Yalinda! To get away from this mess and have running water! tongue   However, we were hit with rain, that's probably why my knee and feet have been so bad. I'm not sure I could handle snow! I sure miss it - I grew up in Mass and remeber the seasonally late storm that made us have to dig ourselves OUT of the house. As a kid, that was cool, I'm sure my parents weren't too happy though!

We are adapting, and the stress is lessening.....but there is so much to do! At least we have a plumber locked in, I know what walls to clear off now, and God-willing all will go smoothly for us to get this all taken care of quickly, efficiently, and with the least amount of hassle as possible!

I see rhuemy today - with all this mess, I forgot to get my bloodwork done! Whoops! But, I need a refill on my Plaquenil and that just cannot wait!

I hope you feel better soon!
