Hi guys.  I am new to this forum but have been on the ms forum in the past.  I saw my neuro last week and he did a bunch of blood work that should get back in three to four weeks.  My md thought I had ms and the neuro said no to ms but possible lupus or lyme.  I was treated for lyme three years ago but everything has come rushing back over time.  I had a severe (to me) ra outbreak that put me in the hospital.  A few shots of a steroid and I was ready to go home.  I have had no problems for nearly three years and over the last few weeks my shins have been really sore, then my hips and my arm into my hand.  My jaw is very sore and I'm having a hard time eating.  Then yesterday I noticed my teeth turning gray and I large chip flaked off my lower tooth.  Anyone have any teeth problems?  Sorry if this seems off base but just wondering.  Thanks in advance.

wow Sherry my sympathies to you ((((((((hugs)))))))))
eyes  teeth problems? specific to teeth...did you take any antibiotics recently in the past 5 years or really recently (like this week/month)?  i know certain AX turn teeth grey.  many chemotherapy agents hold the risk of tooth loss & enamal weakening (chipping, loosening, falling out).
did you tell your doc or RN and ask for input?
personally, with RA & the rest of the cast of characters that take home in my body...i developed some oral problems.  receding gum lines, a lot of bleeding, inflammed gums, sores, sores on tongue too, cracked sides of mouth, and let's not leave out the ever so attractive thrush. tongue oy. eyes
so how long has this whole MS/Lyme/Lupus/RA limbo been going on?  it's difficult to get a proper diagnoses because all of them are almost identical sometimes in symptoms & onset.
are you joint pains bilateral?
how's your bloodwork?
will you be seeing a rheumatologist?
take care
erin the begining (1999 to 2002) i was back n' forth between a slew of docs cuz 1 thought it was MS, the other thought thought Lymes...ugh! so i understand your frustration. :-)

I never thought of the anti-biotics!  The treatment I took for lyme was 12 pills a day for three months.  I guess that would explain the teeth issue.  Still waiting for the blood work results and the ra specialist I saw was only once after the first outbreak.  I am going to see the md on Monday and go over the new issues I'm having.  Thanks for your help.
