My MRI shows congential fusing of C 5-6 and mid degenertive disk disease of all disks from C-1 thru T-1. He is still calling my condition OsteoArthritis even though I am responding to the Prednisone. He isn't concerned about the flushing, muscle cramps and slight increase in my BP. He told me to try Tonic water at bed time to decrease the muscle cramps. I did order blood work CRP, ESR and a panel to see if something is out of balance. Plan: to continue the Prednisone and come back in a month. I am not sure how I feel about this. He himself stated that OsteoArthrits doesn't respond to Prednisone. When I asked What would cause this kind of inflammatory arthritis he stated that It is difficult to find a cause. I feel a little let down and frustrated. I am not thrilled about using Prednisone. I guess I need to be patient. Thanks for listening!

Whoops! I made some mistakes in my post. It seems I can't see the screen of my laptop as well as I used to or maybe some brainfog Friday has set in. He is the one who ordered blood work not me. I have had both high ESR and CRP previously.
