Does anything happen if you forget to take your Prednisome for one day? I've been out of town at a conference and I am tired so I forgot to bring it to work. I don't want to take it late in the day because it makes me so jittery. If I skip one day will I have any effects?
Thanks,
NanMac

I don't think it will be a problem as long as you take the next dose. You can always check with the pharmacist or the nurse at your doctors office. You can't stop taking prednison with out tapering off. When you are on prednisone your body stops producing the hormone naturally. It can be dangerous to stop suddenly. When you are ready to stop your doctor will give you a plan to step down to zero. It took me a very long time to get off because of a rebound effect. I keep one dose at my office in case I forget.
