 Hi folks,
I'm a little confused. I have degeneritive disc disease in my neck, chronic pain, crohns disease, Hep C and more. But Iv'e been told I don't have RA. I think test several years ago was a 4.0 (?) for RA factor. But I keep waking up with hands, arms, legs and feet extremly swollen. No paticular joint pain, more like pain all over, extremely fatigued. Any body got any ideas??

Thanks, a good day to all!!

((((((((((hugs))))))))))) nuff,
my 1st thoughts are that you sound like you suffer from enteropathic arthritis!  which goes w/ the CD.
i too have to deal with Crohns & it tops off my RA mad when the CD flares it throws my already severe RA joint pain into a worse flare-up.

so do you see a rheumatologist as well?
the only NSAID that ever helped my joint pain was Arthrotec, but w/ CD most times people are told to avoid nsaids at all costs.  it did work, but it really was not good for me w/ the Crohns (bleeding, "d", the whole 9 yards).

do you think the pain management regimen you're on now isn't relieveing the pain?
would you consider trying different pain medicines?

hang in there!
take care,
erin

No, I don't have a rheummy at this time. The pain meds I'm on are working pretty good, it's just this swelling thing pops up every couple of months. It's like a flare up. It seems to only last a week or two then comes back in a month or two. At least
I'm not working right now.

thanks for the help !!!!
