my 1st thoughts are that you sound like you suffer from enteropathic arthritis! which goes w/ the CD.
i too have to deal with Crohns & it tops off my RA when the CD flares it throws my already severe RA joint pain into a worse flare-up.
so do you see a rheumatologist as well?
the only NSAID that ever helped my joint pain was Arthrotec, but w/ CD most times people are told to avoid nsaids at all costs. it did work, but it really was not good for me w/ the Crohns (bleeding, "d", the whole 9 yards).
do you think the pain management regimen you're on now isn't relieveing the pain?
would you consider trying different pain medicines?
