It seems once you get a diagnosis of something you can't stay out of a doctor's office for very long. I just contacted my manager to give her a list of days I will either need off, leave early, or be in late, from October through November and there are a lot of days. Phew its a lot.
Anyhow things aren't too bad. Been having a continuation of digestive issues. Have a GI appointment in October for this. I am sure that will mean another day off somewhere from a scope... Lovely...
My joints have their days. The most annoying is my jaw. I am getting to the point I am used to the feet not wanting to work for an hour or so and then once I am off them I am done for the day.... Overall I think that the Rituxan is doing something because I am walking, not having to crawl, and not using an assistive devices to get around. The fatigue is still hell. I am okay in the morning but completely run down by 1pm. There must be something out there to help this.
I already take Folic acid, multivitamins, Vit C with rosehips. I eat better and gave up all sugary drinks and caffeine.
I was wondering something. My rheumy mentioned the possibility of IBD based on symptoms and response to steroids. Is is possible that maybe I have only Chron's and not RA or do people have both? How will they decide since i have been being treated for RA for over a year. The bowel issues started about 5 years ago when the RA got worse but the RA issues started nearly 10 or more years ago? I don't have a positive RF. I do have high CRP, high SED rate, and possible Antiphospholipid syndrome, though mild.
