I have never written on the forum before, usually in the fibro or depression forum but I have a question.  Does anyone know of any meds for arthritis that doesn't cause stomach aches?  My knee's hurt so bad but everything I take hurts my stomach.  Would be glad for any suggestions.

Have you tried extra strength tylenol? i was going to suggest motrin or aleve, but those can upset your belly.. hhmm.. There is also some arthritis strength bayer, not sure if you can tolerate that.. oh, and welcome to the Arthritis Forum.. so good to have you! :)

Hi, I have crohn's disease so there I have to be careful my self as to what I take as well' there are a lot of meds that I cannot take for my RA and OA because the meds will interfere with my gut but both my Rheumy and my GI both told me that if I had to take something that Tylenol but nothing else. So check with your Doctor and see what they have to say. Oh I have a heating mattress pad and I love it helps my legs when they are hurting, and I all so use a heating pad and when it's really bad I will get in the bath tub and and soak in the hottest water that I can stand. I this helps and please let us know how you are doing and you are welcome any time.
