I'm new to arthritis, but have been here at HW for a few years now. I used to be the moderator in the lupus forum.
I was just diagnosed with arthritis in my neck 2 days ago. I have it in C3, 4, 6, 7. So I'm pretty sore and stiff! It's not RA, thank goodness. Just plain old, age and heredity related arthritis. Although, I'm not quite 34, and hoping that isn't old, LOL!
Doctors think it's mainly due to my long term prednisone use and a couple of car accidents and a skiing fall from when I was younger. So I might be checking in here from time to time to read and ask some questions.
I'll be seeing a physio in the new year. Right now I'm using ice to help the pain. Not much else works! I'm limited as to what I can take for pain meds. Just trying to wrap my head around "another health issue". They're coming in spades this year.
Thanks for reading. Merry Christmas everyone!
