Symptoms like mumps pain?

Does anyone have pain in their salivary glands and down the sides of your neck like when they had mumps? I don't know whether to worry if this is an infection or just a symptom.

Either way I think your doctor should know about it. Sorry, I don't know which it might be -- my guess is you'd need some blood tests for them to decide on infection vs symptom.

Thank you. I did not go to the dr, we had an overbooked weekend. I'm sure every one has those... I'm still paying for it. But I did kinda massage the sides of my neck, and while they are very sore, did get some relief.

I have these swollen gland symptoms often, along with sore throat and ear aches. Get checked but no signs of infection. It might be part of the whole dryness problem. I have to have glasses of water daily. The dryness will destroy your nasal passages and rot your teeth. Teeth grinding also occurs. But back to your question: Yes, swollen glands stuff can be from Sjogrens or fibromyalgia...

DIAG>: FIBROMYLGIA in 1999. Includes migraines, brain fog, muscle pain, etc.

MYOFACIAL PAIN DISORDER in 1999.

GRAVES DISEASE in 2004. THYROID EYE DISEASE. I treat w/anti-thyroid meds. 2 Remissions, Afraid of raidation.

SJOGREN'S SYNDROME. Self-diagnosed since no Dr. will test or confirm as it fits pattern of my illnesses and treatment already included in meds.

CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME. I don't even want to get dressed or leave my house!!!

Concerta 54mg 1x daily in order to think!

Effexor XR 150mg 2x daily - an anti-depressant
Gabapentin(Neurontin) 300mg 3x daily - nerve pain
Ropinirole(Requip) 0.5mg 3x daily - rls/electrified body!
Sulindac(Clinoril) 200mg 2-3x daily - for wrist/finger pain

Metoprolol Tart 50 mg 1x daily - for heart/Graves
Imitrex Inj. 6mg as needed for migraines

Cyclobenzaprine(Flexiril) 10mg 3-4x daily - muscle relaxer
Propoxycet N(Darvocette) 100mg 3-4x daily - pain relief

Amitriptiline(Elavil) 10mg 1x nightly - for insomnia
Zolpidem(Ambien) 10mg 1x nightly - for insomnia

It took me several years to get adjusted to my med plan and I am scared to mess with it.

Fibro relief: try muscle relaxer and anti-depressant as a base. I lost what seemed like 75% of pain though still 100% disabled.
