I just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone (myself included) to take a look at the dates on the posts they're responding to. If you're going through old posts from 2005, its likely that the member has moved on and so there's not much point in responding to the post now. If you find a good point in an archived post you'd like to bring to the current board, that's great, but keep in mind that the original author is most likely gone. I just found myself writing a long response to a post that was over 2 years out of date and felt annoyed when I realized it.

Thanks,
serafena

Hi Guys,

Sorry. sad   I feel I am part to blame for that. I suggest to a lot of newbies to spend time looking through old posts for more information and that they might find something they can relate to and learn from that.

I'll start asking them to check the date of the post BEFORE replying to it and that if it has been around for a while that they should start their own post.

Thanks for reminding us serafena. :-)

I wasn't trying to cast blame, Sukay and katy. It is a really good idea to go through past posts. It was simply a reminder for us all.
