It's March everybody! scool There's a light at the end of the snowy tunnel! Vernal Equinox in t-minus 20 days. Hooray! More light. Less darkness. A little less cold. I love March. It's eases the depression a bit.

thank you serafina.  i needed that interjection of light just now.  i'm basically a pessimist - they enjoy themselves more.  if they are right about a negative outcome, they can pat themselves on the back.  if they are wrong, they can say that this was a one-time exception and take heart in there being SOME good in people.

maybe that light at the end of my tunnel isn't really an on-coming train?  :-)    (maybe it's only a mac truck?  yeah )

wwishing you and everyone in HW a happy solstice!

Today it was actually 67 degrees in my neck of the woods, and this has lifted my spirits a lot. I don't mind the winter too much, but my philosophy is if it's cold it should snow. But yes, more light is on it way. Yeah!!!

mad  March! I spent a long time chopping up ice on my sidewalk next to the garage and sweeping all the water that  had collected in there from all the melting snow from our 56 degree weather on Sunday!

More cold and snow on it's way!

Now this is the type of winters I remember from 10 years ago. This would be a typical winter for Chicago, but now a days everyone is complaining about all the snow!

Enjoy it while it lasts!  * * * * * smurf

March means spring break........come on all of you here in this great forum.............tell us your plans for Spring break.
I am going to take my granddaughter (14 years old) to Oregon to visit my son and family.  We are staying on the ocean and the kids are going to stay with me........all 4 of them.  Yikes.

Anyone going on a cruise?

That sounds lovely -- and chaotic. But lots of fun.

We're heading to St. Louis next week to be with my in-laws who dote on my daughter like she's made of gold. Being a grandparent must be a pretty weird experience. But it's very fun to watch them have such a good time with her and she loves them to pieces. My H and I will take advantage of all the doting to spend a little time together getting out on our own (gasp!) and seeing a movie and maybe even having dinner (double gasp!)

I wish I were going on a cruise, though.

OOh Serafena enjoy that trip to your in-laws.  I think you and your husband will just love the alone time, while your little one is smothered with love by grandpa and grandma!

I'm going skiing at Winter Park, CO with my wife and 2 daughters (6 and 3).  I will be glad to get away from work for a while.

That sounds nice too. I never did learn how to ski. One of these years I really want to learn.

smurf  Hiya Warren!

Well actually I added another dose of Trileptal recently along with another kicker of Xanax! It must be all this pre-season stuff getting me all in a riff! tongue

But I luv my cubbies and I like this new guy Lou! He made some good choices last year for the team. I can't wait to see all that he has planned for this year unfold.

Maybe this will be our year! yeah
