Many of us have been real quiet recently, and I'm just wondering how everyone's doing. Is it winter keeping you away from the board? Don't let it any more. Give us a short update on how you're doing. I'm wondering about you...

Hi Guys,
I know I've been keeping a low profile lately but I have been having some serious issues to deal with. My husband just had heart surgery last week, so needless to say, that has been where my attention has been.

But not to fear, he is home and feeling Great now!

So that's what's been keeping me away lately. You'll see more of me around soon.

Sukay, I am glad your husband is feeling well.  What a stress you have been under!

I have just been busy with life.  One daughter is a cheerleader and one daughter's softball season just started.  I feel much more regulated on meds now, my dr was going to increase my risperdal this month, but decided not to since I seem to be doing fine as is, and am not having any noticable problems mania-wise.  I am staying busy with the one online english class I am taking, and I think taking this class has helped so much in reawakening that other half of this fried brain of mine!

My husband and I are still having some communication issues...mainly because he still is having anger issues about all of the money I had spent in the last rapid cycle.  But I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel there....he at least listens to me more.

Also, the terrific weather has really helped me feel better overall.  I have been spending alot of time outside, planting, pruning, or just playing with my 5 year old.  So I think the sunlight is doing me good.

Sukay -- I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's surgery. You must have been so worried! I'm glad everything is getting better though. Phew. Take your time and we'll be here waiting when you have the time for us. ((((Hugs))))

Michele -- Your weather is better than mine, apparently. Sigh. We're getting there though. You've got lots going on too. I'm glad to here your meds are helping keep things on track and your class is going well. I was an English teacher, so I still always feel a kind of pride when people do well at English. It's goofy that way. Good job with your husband too. You seem perkier.
