Just checking on you all tongue im doing well and my Pdoc is very pleased with me yeah .. not pleased with my smoking habit but I told him you cant have everything .
 
My anxiety level is still very high .... but otherwise im fine

I knew you're pdoc would be very proud of your progress. You've really worked hard and got yourself through some very stressful times.
 
I understand about your smoking. It has a calming affect on me when times get rough. But, we need to tackle one thing at a time.
 
You mentioned that your Anxiety is still very high. What things are you working on to help you in that area? Do you need any suggestions? I think that would be a very good "New Topic" post if you'd like to start one. I'm sure many on the board could use some ideas and well as share some ideas that work for them.

Carol,

While you are doing a great job during the "stress" times of getting through, and you have a lot to be proud of yourself for. Don't forget to anticipate what you will do if you reach a crash. I have seen it over and over, that once you relax...things can go down hill. But, if you know it could come and you put together an action plan...you can handle much of it. What I mean is....what will you do if....what actions will you take in a healthy way if "X" happens....observe it, recognize it...then implement your plan (call dr, warm healing baths, list of supportive friends you can call, a good comedy or two you can watch that always makes you laugh and brighten your mood, yoga, breathing techniques...etc. You will ride the wave if it hits with greater ease this way and it won't make you feel like you are "loosing" it, but controlling it instead. Keep up the great work for yourself....LFW

I'm glad to hear you're doing okay. I'm not surprised your anxiety is still high despite everything. You've just come through (and are still going through) some pretty high stress events with your children who apparently you love very much but cause you anxiety. When my anxiety gets bad it's really important that I center myself -- think about who and where I am, what I am doing, what is "real." Just taking a moment to think these things through is sometimes enough to slow me down and remind me what's real and what's important and I'll stop panicing. I like Sukay's idea of a new topic, I think I'll start one.
