I never really properly introduced my self, my name is Michelle and I am diagnosed with Bipolar I.

I grew up with a tough childhood, I got it pretty bad growing up but they're are others who have had it worse. I am eighteen years old and I still live with my abuser... I'm working on moving out but my main priority is to finish highschool and begin community college.

Later on in life I hope to become a social worker and help young people who are or have gone through similar less or worse situations then my self.

I am not on medication as of right now and I havent been for the past say about ten months but I plan on seeing a doctor as soon as possible to begin a new medication.

I just wanted to actually introduce my self.

anyway, how is every one doing?

i hope well.

Thanks for the intro, Michelle, it's nice to meet you.

I think it's cool you want to be a social worker later on. It's great that a lot of people who come out of rotten childhoods often just want to help keep others out of the same situation (as opposed to, I don't know, being more angry, I guess).

*gasp* why on earth would you still be with your ABUSER..
Are their other family members you could stay with for a while?
Or a close friend..
What ever you do don't find some guy to shack up, in a effort to escape..

Hi Michelle,

Nice to meet you; welcome to HW :-)

I think that you have some really productive and positive goals for yourself.  You will definitely have to keep us updated; it will be great for you to move out and start taking extra care of yourself.  Glad to hear that you have a plan to contact a doctor asap.  I think that is also a good plan.

Glad you found us...
