For 7th and * grade is was in a bad situation invoving torture, sexual abuse, rape, and running drugs.  I was a princess, so they never did anything to my face.    One man became more and more frightened by my catatonic and trippy nature that he begged my parents to stick me in in instituation and move before I come home.  I have complex ptsd.  I am just now trying to learn how try live in both worlds where one is replaying and flshes through my moments of wakefullness without warning and takes so control of me night that I always wake up knowing that when my husband married me, I didn't have the authority to even make a decision.I am always owned.

Quietpain,

You have one of the most complex situations I've seen on the board yet. Please don't feel alone if no one can match your diagnosis exactly. I am sorry to hear of the traumas you have endured and know you can always come her for support. While you feel you are always owned, I believe that is not exactly true. You and only you are responsible for your fate, and if you want to get out, you can do it with planning and research. Get your resources in line first and then it will be easier for you to free yourself from a situation you aren't happy with.

I am diagnosed with both Bi-polar and PTSD. It is hard dealing with both, as one tend to feed off the other.
I hope that you are able to find help in dealing with both, as it can be very difficult.
