I am lonely today .... It is 114 degrees outside... I was invited by my daughter to go school clothes shopping for my grandaughter but I canceled... because  I get so anxiety ridden going out in the heat. and my tv is broken so cant watch that... i guess I will read a book... I woke up with anxiety.. not a good way to start the day..( I am a widow so live alone)

Hiya, that's HOT. It barely reached 70 degrees here today.

I can imagine it you would work up a sweat just walking from the parking area to the store in that temperature.

What book are you reading?

Hi Caren

Hope you are doing better after the weekend.

I get anxious in the heat of Jul and Aug here in KS as well.  It's almost like seasonal affective disorder in reverse!  Too much warmth and sun.  I live for late Sep, Oct, and Nov which are all lovely here.

Caren,

I'm assuming you live in Arizona? That's where I live. I know what you mean about the heat. It doesn't quite cause me anxiety, but it does make me feel pretty bad. It can make me feel very depressed because there is not much to do in the heat. I love to walk outside and do things outdoors, but right now we can't. The heat makes me so bored and can get me into trouble with my shopping issues. Sometimes malls are the only places to go to get a change of scenery but that gets me into big time trouble. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I know how you feel!

Well, I hope you are feeling a little better today. I am in the East Valley. Just know that you may be feeling lonely but you are not alone.
