i start a 10 day outpatient program on Monday. I'm really excited. they have group meetings and job and house resources. I get to learn to coup with my mental illness. And i get to meet others like me. I'll let you know how it went. :-) :-)

I've heard great things about programs like this. I was actually referred to one a few years ago, but didn't do it. I was scared so didn't go. sad   Keep us updated on how it goes!

oh no! I hope it wasn't something I said. sad  I'm sure you'll be fine and it should help you a lot. try not to miss it. granted I don't take my own advice so I feel stupid offering it. my only suggestion if you're too scared is to at least try it, if you get there and don't feel better after a while you can always leave...you can make new friends too...grasping at straws here...maybe someone else can give you more motivation.

Outpatient treatment is not a bad thing, please don't be discouraged from going. A lot of people find it to be helpful especially with copying with everyday life. Please let us know of your decisions.

today was so cool. i learned about healthy and unhealthy boundaries. i learned what negative talk does to my self. I learned ways to take care of my self. I met other girls like me. We did arts and crafts and I met with a therapist. about half way I got overwhelmed and cried a bit. They have a private bed room you can rest in. A mini Library and the most amazing lunches.

Tell me more about the amazing lunches. This may be a program I would like as well.
