So after a mini nervous breakdown last night and a restless night of sleep...I was up every half hour it seemed...I woke up today in a good mood. confused LOL! I love being bipolar. Someone mentioned in another thread...don't even remember if it was one of mine...that when they get down they just remember that it will pass soon enough with all the mood swings. (not a direct quote, just what I remember off the top of my head) Anyway, I called my doc today for blood work, waiting to hear back from them, and I'm going to try to enjoy today. I haven't been sick yet...haven't eaten though...so if I'm feeling like this later I *might* even try to go out to dinner with the only 2 friends we really have here in town. All my friends have moved away...I'm the only one still stuck in this town. Anyway just wanted to fill you guys in on my rollercoaster. Hope everyone else is having a good day.

going out with friends is such a good pick-me-up. i isolate sooo much when i'm depressed, then when i'm happier (or i want to get there) and i finally call up some girls and go do something with them, i think to myself, "now why the hell was i ignoring everyone's phone calls? i'm having a good time!" i hope you do feel good for the rest of the day, glad to hear you woke up in a better mood. =)

thanks b...my mood has come down a little, I think just because I'm so tired. still haven't heard from the doc about my blood work. I hope they get back to me soon so I can get to the blood place today before they close.

Yep closure, you sound like me. Stay tuned for the next mood swing in 15 minutes...

Today I feel like I could break my husband's kneecaps. Yesterday I was happy. The day before sad.

But like I said and you said, at least we're never stuck in one mood. I often thought unipolar depression must suck bad.

yeah, but our depression gets so much more severe sometimes. it would almost be great to be manic all the time...

I've always have much more problems with manias. I had the bad thought many times in my depressions. But I was much more destructive in the other side. Had numerous run ins with the law. Lost $12,000 at a craps table one time. Wrecked many vehicles. Once climbed a TV tower (fun, but I don't recommend it). Drove all over the US and no one knew where I was. Hurt some folks. Luckily, no marriage infidelities. Not that I didn't try, I'm just so butt ugly.
I want "I wish I had one more day to spend at the office" on my tombstone.

I used to be crazy, but now I have enough money to be called eccentric.

thanks for the replies guys. I managed to make it out for a bit. my tummy is making me pay now. I went out to eat...should've known better...every time I eat I start to get sick, but oh well. it took my mind off the growth behind my ear for a little while at least. now I'm extremely drained and sick. my mood's still ok though.
