So we did this thing called a healing Mudra, which is basically a meditation with hand gestures.  It was pretty cool and I thought I would share it with you guys.  You sit Indian style with your hands resting on your knees.  Then you tap your thumb to your index, then middle, then ring, then pinkie fingers.  Then start again with the index...etc.  You tap for a four count as you breathe in, then tap for another four count as you breathe out.  As you tap on your fingers you recite (either in your head or out loud) Sa(index), Ta(middle), Na (ring), Ma(pinkie).  This meditation is meant to balance both hemispheres of the brain. If you are in pain somehere in your both you should send positive energuy there while you are doing the Mudra.

I hope this makes sense.  Let me know if you have questions.  There are other mudras too.  Our instructor said you can google them.

Namaste :)

Its a salutation. It's how we end our yoga class. We put our hands together in a prayer position and bow to our instructor and say Namaste. It literally means "I get out to you".

that sounds neat.

there's a cool breathing exercise where you sit (hero or cross-legged, whichever), plug one nostril, inhale deeply through the other, then plug the opposite nostril and exhale throught the previously plugged nostril. (haha did that make sense?) it does the same as far as balancing the hemispheres. nice and calming. i bet those two would be a great combination.
to suffer is not enough.

Oh yeah B, I heard about that one at one of my classes too! That's supposed to be really good as well.
