cry  i just joined this site.  i lost my DH in march after a 3 week . just had our 22 anniversary yesterday and birthday coming up the 28th. so sad month here. even after that is over it is still lonely and sad.

i have been reading posts here and there and read a post and of course can't find it now but was telling about a site for memorial candles.

i would appreciate if someonce could help me find that site.

thanks.

Hi campin,

Welcome to the board. I'm sorry for what must be a very hard time for you right now. I haven't been able to find anything on the site about memorial candles. I've used the site search engine and found plenty of mention of candles but nothing about memorial candles.

I know that if you go to any store that sells Jewish food or goods (even my grocery store has them) you can get Yarzheit candles, which are memorial candles. They're small white candles in glass cups. You light them and let them burn in memory of your loved one.

Just out of curiosity, did your dh have bipolar or do you?

I don't know if you're on the wrong forum, but this is the bipolar disorder forum. That's why I asked. :-) Do you remember which forum you were in where they were ordering the candles?

Unfortunately, HealingWell doesn't have a widow forum. You must have been looking at some other website entirely. I'm sorry. I wish I could help you.

Higher up on the screen on the left is a box that says "Forum Quick Jump". Pull that down and select "Depression". That will take you to the depression page. Another way to do it is to go all the way to the top of this screen and select "Forums and Chat." You'll see a list of all the forums. Select depression from that list and it'll take you there.

Good luck.
