I am so down right now, I want to feel better, I want me back. Now knowing that when I get depressed that there is more behind it makes me more down.
I will go for the first time to see PDOC, I want to feel better but I am so worried she will want to change meds and I dont like that. I dont like the coming off and starting stuff.
I just want to scream, I want to feel better. why do I get so down? I just hold it all in and I know that is not good.
I just dont know

Hello Krista,

I am sorry that you are feeling really down.  Unfortunetly, depression is one of the parts of bilopar disorder; it is also one of the hardest parts to deal with.  It is not something to easily shake of, and a lot of people in the board have been there.

Hang in there and know we are here for you if you need to post how you feel.  Sometimes that helps one feel a little better.

I am glad you are going to your pdoc for help, it is not something that should be ignored.  They don't always change your meds completely.  They sometimes raise your dose of your current meds, add a new one to the existing one or in extreme cases change your meds completely.  Please let us know how you are doing and how your appointment goes.

Hi Krista,

Hope you're feeling better today. Don't be afraid of changing your meds. Clearly the ones you're on aren't working. If they were, you wouldn't be so depressed. Let them try something new or add some new pills on to the ones you're already taking. That's probably the best way for you to feel better. In the mean time, it's a good idea to try and get out of the house every day. Do you have to go to work?
