I just watched a tv show about Bipolar.... they said that there are 6 million people in America with Bipolar. and it led one to believe that if one takes the right medicine and under a dr.s order.. he could live a stable life.

NIMH says 5.6 million Americans have bipolar, so that seems pretty close. I think it seems pretty simplistic to imply that drugs and therapy just cure us all, but I think they're probably the best chance any of us has. But we know how bumpy and long the ride that ride to drugs and therapy can be. How many drugs have you been on? I've freakin' lost count. And then you know, you don't always stay stable once you've been stable... It's always so much more complicated than they make it out to be on tv. But on the other hand, it's good they put it on tv. Did they at least have some normal looking bps on? No one "crazy" looking?
