Hi Flyboy,

Welcome to HealingWell and to the bipolar board.

It's virtually impossible to say from the information you give what kind of disorder you're looking at. You may have Generalized Anxiety Disorder too, if your mood swings aren't terrible. Anxiety is comorbid with bipolar though. You mentioned cyclothemia and dysthemia though, so I'm guessing you're depressed most of the time. Depression is an option. How does you're "mania" present itself, do you think?

By the way, please don't type in all caps -- it denotes yelling and is hard to read. Thanks.

Hi
Thanks for the speedy reply. My apologies for the capital typo. My mania presents itself as becoming extremely social ,slightly over social infact, energy levels increase and rapid thoughts. At no point during my mania have i been in trouble with the law or went on spending sprees. I am depressed a lot of the time but as soon as i hit the gym and loose the anger im fine till late evening then my mood gradually declines. My depressive episodes are quite bad, i cant think clearly alot of negative thoughts and extreme irratibility.
Thanks FLYBOY

Well, yeah, it's hard to say over the internet, plus I'm no doctor, of course. But it could be BP II. It's good you're going to the doctor one way or another to get it checked it out. Is this your first time to a psych? Are you nervous?
