You're definitely not alone. I'm definitely an eater, and I think several other people have mentioned it as well. It's a classic way to try and stuff emotions back down. It's not effective for long though, unfortunately, so we just eat more. Stupid cycles. I'm sorry your meds aren't working right now and you need to talk to your pdoc soon. The meds are not going to make you "flat line" and if they do, you need new meds. You should feel like yourself, just normal. But you shouldn't be hypomanic either and it sounds like you might be. Something's not doing its job.
