One of my major problems, because it is waring me out physically and mentally is that when I wake up in the monring, my mind has already been ON for obviously quite some time.  I wake up to Queen singing  Boh. Rapsody, or thinking about work, or thinking about rearranging the living room furniture or anything, everything.  Is this standard procedure for BP's?

Hi BPGemini,

I think so, unless there's some other additional problem as well that could be adding to it. Let me explain. At first glance I would say mild mania, talk to your doc. But that sort of thing was happening to me a lot and I was exhausted too, and it was going on for months. Turned out I was also fighting with sleep apnea. So I'd talk with your doc, tell him/her what's going on and let them ask questions. Better to quiet down the mania if you can, anyway. Besides, waking up to Bohemian Rhapsody every morning WILL drive a person crazy.

Hi BPGemini,

I don't especially wake up to it, but I have it all day - my mind racing, it never stops & it is exhausting. You could try some relaxation techniques like yoga or meditation.
