I have a question regarding the sleep habits of a person with BP. Is it a consistent sympton to not sleep well and be restless or does it very from person to person? My wife has the ability of being able to sleep just fine in just about any condition.
We are in the process of putting it back together. Would appreciate any feedback.

I think sleep in an individual thing, but it is know that people with mood disorders such as bipolar or depression have sleeping problems. It varies from person to person, some people sleep too much while others like myself have a hard time getting to sleep and staying asleep. So if your wife doesn't have problem with sleep that is a wonderful thing. :-)

Sleep is one thing that is commonly disturbed in people with bipolar -- in one way or another, but everyone is different. Personally, I could sleep just about any time of day or night -- I'm always tired. But other people never need to sleep, and that's bad too. So there's a whole range.

Sometimes I am restless, sometimes I sleep through the night, and sometimes I try to go to bed but I am wide awake. Just before my diagnosis, I could sleep for 2-3 hours and that was enough for me. Now I can sleep for 12 hours and still be tired. It always varies, I wish it were consistent!
