I am starting work after being gone for 7 months.  i am very nerves because people are going to ask questions like what's wrong with you.  At this time i feel very depressed and not motivated.  The dr's up my lamictal and that seems to help, but some days are worse than others.  I just want a constant feeling of normal (what's normal)?  I go back to phych dr. on Friday then work on Monday.  I am afraid because I can't afford to get sick again.  At this time i feel so scared and depressed is that normal for BP?  When ever there is change in my life I get all worked up and it seems to make the Bp worse.   sorry have not been around much, just can't consentrait(spelling is bad) much.  and when i get so depressed i just stay quiet and run away, even when it can be helpful.  Thanks Fast1

Congrats for taking the step to go back to work. I'm not BP but my advice to you is to take it one day at a time. :)
From the moment

From the moment i saw you,
I wanted to meet you
From the moment i met you, I wanted to know you
From the moment i knew you, I was in love with you
From the moment i loved you, I wanted to share my life with you
and from that moment to this moment and for the moments to come I will love you with all my heart.

Good luck, fast1. Take it easy, don't push yourself to hard, and try not to worry. You can do it. Believe it, and you will be okay. Have you talked to your doc about this? Make sure you mention it tomorrow at your appointment.

You will do just fine.  You just need to remember to keep calm and stay in your healthy mind. Just take your time and ease your way back in, I am sure you will feel comfortable again.  And don't worry about the nosy bodys.  You do not need to tell anyone anything if that is your choice.   Just tell them you were taking care of a private matter.

Dear fast1, I am planning to get back to work after 5 months. I have been volunteering these days and there are a lot of Arabs who ask me why I left my job at the bank and why I took a break (Arabs tend to be nosey and gossipy; I am surrounded by them since I live in Kuwait). I tell them that I had issues at my workplace and that I needed to take time off after that. They give me strange looks but I have learnt to ignore those. There are times I feel terribly depressed and I don't want to step outside the house but I know that I feel better after a day at school. Staying home alone can be very depressing and I remind myself of that. Meeting people makes one less depressed and you will always find a handful of nice people everywhere. Don't worry about getting sick again. You are being monitored by a psychiatrist and he knows to look out for the warning signs. After a few days at work, you will definitely feel better.
