I'm sorry to hear that cajunwyngzD. Do you have a history of addictions or drug or alcohol abuse? Docs are pretty touchy about that stuff. Instead, try looking for some other ways to calm down. (I know this is so corny, but maybe it will help.) Take a walk. Pet your pets. Call a friend. Garden. (It's almost nice enough for that here.) Do something creative. Write in a journal. Get on line and tell us what's got you all keyed up. Do some yoga or meditation.
Hopefully something will help you calm down a bit. I have a lot of anxiety too, so I know how hard it is to calm yourself.
